they did a big shakeup this week to fix groups that are consorting and gaming so they are rewarding much broader engagement and I'm sure other things that think they spread the engagement rather than smaller groups

well that's a big part of the algo shift....you get more points if 500 people engagement than if 100 people engage lots of times. But there's often a drop when you are new and rocket up the leaderboard and then aren't the new shiny toy 😄
