Hustle culture isn't a hot take, it's the result of a hyper capitalist environment where you've been taught since birth to define yourself by your productivity. You aren't asked what you want /to do/, you're asked what you want /to be/. Your unenriched identity is wholly built around completing job tasks for profit.
