This is a super interesting thread, and it's the exact problem I'm trying to solve with Reply.

@nomygod.eth brings up a great point about other "pay-to-message" apps. The key difference with Reply is the accountable escrow. If you don't get a reply in 3 days, you get a 100% automatic refund. It's a risk-free bond for the sender, not just a one-way payment.

It's all about creating a fair, positive-sum system to filter for the messages that truly matter.
