When I launched Reply, my notifications exploded. DMs, comments, recasts... it was a firehose.

On one hand, it's the best feeling in the world. On the other, it's impossible to focus. You have to keep building, but you're terrified of missing that one crucial piece of feedback or an important question.

It's the sound of opportunity mixed with a sea of noise.

That 0.01 USDC message triggered an on-chain handshake, governed by the smart contract.

Here were the possible outcomes:

I ignore it or don't reply in 3 days -> The sender gets a 100% automatic refund. No risk for them.

I reply -> The contract automatically releases the funds to my wallet.

In my case, I replied. I earned 0.01 USDC (minus a small fee). But what I got in return was far more valuable.

Then, in the middle of the chaos, this happened.

I got a notification from Reply. It came through my native Farcaster notifications, but I also got a separate alert from my ReplyNotifyBot on Telegram.

Someone had sent me a paid message. They paid just 0.01 USDC. It wasn't about the money. It was a signal. They used the tool to say: "This is important. This is worth your time."

My FC feed was a blur, but that Telegram alert cut right through. I knew I had to look.

My inbox got busy, but I know I'm not alone. My friend @runn3rr has dozens of unreads. @ace  has hundreds.

Now imagine the inboxes of people like @dwr.eth , @v , or the teams at Farcaster and Base. It's the same problem, just at a massive scale.

Every unread message is a potential missed connection. Every notification is a tax on attention. They have to focus on their work. But what if we could help them focus on the right messages?
