israel isn’t blameless in all this, they’re the initiators of the war with the strikes on iran, who gave them the right or power to do so? they killed a politician in iran, a negotiator and one of iran’s top military personnel, if the roles were reversed and iran launched first and killed an israeli politician, i’m sure we would have been talking about the destruction of iran at this moment.

i’m a christian and i can never blatantly hate isreal but you have to know when to drop your bias aside and see when people are doing bad/wrong

i also think of all the people to have nukes  iran should be on the top list of never ever having it and also i know everyone says this (no one should have nukes) but we aren’t in a perfect world. 

i also wanted to point out that if we look at the case of israel versus hamas, israel has completely left the plot and are attacking innocent civilians in gaza to the point that the england, france and germany has given out a clear warning that israel should allow humanitarian aid to come into gaza. Not every palestinian is part of hamas but thats the narrative isreal has stuck with, they’re killing people who are trying to get meals from aids, that is just wrong on all levels.

Yeah, it’s definitely messy, and both sides have done wrong. 

But one thing that stands out is Iran has openly talked about wiping Israel off the map — that’s why people get so tense about them possibly getting nukes.  

Does the same go for Israel?  As far as I know (and I'm a complete neophyte here) they have not stated anything like that, promising to wipe off Iran from the map, even though they already supposedly have nuclear weapons.

I think the most important item to review in modern history, when it comes to Israel and what they actually desire (peace not expansion) is to see the history of how the current Gaza borders came to exist.

It's extremely important to note the following:

1) that Israel left Gaza completely
2) there were Jews living in Gaza who Israel forcefully removed (~half of Israeli's thought it was a bad idea)
3) PLA was kicked out of Gaza within days following Hamas' takeover

What this shows me is a drastic step in the direction of peace... giving your enemy full territorial control. It also shows that Hamas is an insane organization... they killed their own people to usurp power

Nothing in war is simple. There are lots of events that led to this and we can get into more details if you want.

Befriend an Israeli and they'll all tell you they want peace. And I think that you'll believe them when they say it. You won't feel that they secretly want expansion.

I'm not sure about your last point of what Israeli's get taught in school, but no they don't get taught that Palestinians are evil and should die, or anything of the sort

Iran funded October 7th as well terrorist organizations in the region (Hezbollah, Hamas)

so for Iran this a long time coming it wasn’t out of the blue or without reason


Bonus: when it comes to war there is no permission. Permission is granted by whoever is willing and able to fight the war. It’s war. There’s no talk or reason or rules. If those existed there wouldn’t be a war.

i completely agree with your point, but i like to know what is the relation between being a Christian and loving or hating Israel? in our country Israel invaded it for years and bombed it, and there are Christians who really hates Israel! what's your point
