Ponder predictions feel like they miss the mark a bit

It rewards you for predicting what you think other people will think other people will think. I have stopped doing them because it disincentivises voicing your opinion 

I would love a polling product that lets you vote and bet on the result separately

i think that’s actually the point though, it makes you try to think what other would pick thereby challenging you to reason from their perspective and understand others better—“what would other people choose and why?” 

i like it, but yeah also having one that rewards on the actual result is needed (i mean it’s called a prediction poll)

It’s essentially a game of “guess the mid curve”, which can be kinda fun but the results aren’t valuable
