I live in Tokyo! 

But also I guess it depends where you compare to?

pretty sure if i'm not near train stations or dept stores, there are no public toilets

FR tho I am constantly surprised about how common and clean public toilets are in this country, having been brought up in a place where there are absolutely zero, and even when they exist you usually don't want to use them (especially in stations!)

i don't remember encountering parks that often, the mini parks that i walked past also don't have any public toilets 🤔 

i will need to be more observant on my next trip

Almost all parks have public toilets, even the rather small ones you'd find in very dense areas

They're also surprisingly clean
