Iran Israel war is the result of the international rules based order designed by the US to wage wars against the rest of the world but primarily the Middle East. Iran is not Iraq and Iran is not the Iran of early 2000s. It has indeed developed a dangerous arsenal of missiles which can end Israel in weeks. The only way Israel survives this is if Tel Aviv decides to use the Samson option - illegal nuclear weapons, and or the US intervenes on its behalf. Forget closing the Strait of Hormuz, Tehran can paralyse the oil market for years if under existential threat it decides to target Saudi oil fields. The IRGC can also decide to target the UAE to spread maximum terror across the Gulf Arab states who are aligned with the US / Israel. Iran is surrounded by mountains and a ground invasion is out of the question. At this point in time the Iranians don’t feel existentially threatened but if they do, hell will break loose. Question you all should be asking, why did Israel provoke Iran unnecessarily when the nuclear talk were progressing? And then connect the dots with the WMD lies of the Iraq war.

Do you really think there’s no credible evidence that Iran was close to breakthrough? There’s documented evidence of Iran stockpiling more and more uranium enriched to 60% and beyond following the collapse of the JCPOA. You don’t need uranium enriched to anywhere near those levels for civilian reactor fuel.

It’s irrelevant at this point. The blatant violation of article 51 of the UN by the Israelis justifies Tehrans need for nuclear weapons. Israel assassinated the entire negotiation team who were working with the Trump administration on a deal.
