The State bears responsibility for all its citizens from the far-right extremists to the centrist fence-sitters to the self-righteous pretentious liberals. It cannot brand a faction as unacceptable so it can unleash state-sponsored violence. That is precisely what’s happening in Pakistan today, where the State’s duty to protect has collapsed into selective bloody persecution repeatedly violating the rule of law.

I am very angry that Pakistan has been an epicenter for the use of chemical weapons beyond Tear gas or ADS (which is still fucked, look up Long Range Active Denial System) And there has been very little reaction from the international community, very infuriating, people forget that Pakistan has a population over 250 million people, and CIA has been sinister in infiltrating Pakistan public health

You’re right! The State must protect all citizens equally, regardless of their beliefs. When it targets specific groups and uses violence instead of upholding the rule of law, as seen in Pakistan, it undermines justice and public trust. True legitimacy comes from impartiality and respect for legal rights, not selective persecution.
