u and me both.... i think there are enough vested holders who are builders that they are providing 'additional value' by building on top of bitmaps. latest i think is some merlin-chain staking thingie to earn merlin tokens which are tokens for an l2 (supposedly) on btc. looks more like a polygon cdk tho.
