#ZeroContract Highlight Feature #1: ○ Freedom to edit Contract Metadata After deploying a contract, the collection information (contract metadata) can be edited as many times as needed as long as you have no tokens in circulation. As in the example I provide in the comments, I didn't like my initial description and logo so decided to change it. I had not minted any tokens yet so this feature was unlocked. But what if I want to change the information AFTER I mint a token? Initially, this feature will be locked out. We do not want artists changing collection information after people are buying artwork. However, the artwork simply needs to not be in circulation. So if you mint, but never sell, you can use the Destroy feature (to be discussed later) to remove the artwork from circulation. The contract metadata editing feature will then be unlocked again.

Why do you not want people to be able to change collection details after mint? We have this function on Objkt, and I honestly am glad for this as all my collections are growing with me. So sometimes a slight adjustment is needed. Or just having a fresh new collection image to have it aligned with the newer works, for example.

It is a valid option. But it also opens up the potential for it to change dramatically (even get erased). The way this was built is not a declaration that I think ALL contracts should be the same. Just for this application I felt it made sense. With all the information on-chain, I feel the collection details is as much a part of what collectors are purchasing as the artwork itself. With that, it made sense to me to limit collection editing to a condition where collectors are not affected.
