this is bc of education level. not saying that they vote dem bc they’re smarter necessarily , but when it comes to bias academia mostly leans (lurches) to the left. That education system produces liberal adults who get paid more of their education level. I will also say that IMO establishment democrats are at the whim of their wealthy constituents/donors just like republicans. It doesn’t surprise me that the wealthy often vote for dems. The rich will tend towards voting for whoever best protects and grows their specific financial interests. These days, Dems seem to meet that criteria better than Republicans in many situations. They cause less chaos, they uphold the status quo, they lie more effectively. Makes sense to back dems. Not saying this is a fact but all of this is just the way I see it. IMO this stat makes perfect sense these days, all things considered .
