here's what i experienced:
1. go to my beloved searchcaster
2. see deprecation notice, referring to buoy
3. go to buoy, find the search button, search something
4. see the paywall

that definitely shouldn't be happening, you searched on web? 

is it possible you hit the "create buoy" after searching? That will bring up the paywall

the only thing i pressed was the search button

cc @dwr.eth couldn't attach webm video on web so had do... Sigh... Record with my phone

ah, i forgot that we had this on web (thanks @erica for pointing out)

we show the pay wall to free users after 3 searches

you can just dismiss it and keep searching for free

if you find that annoying you can upgrade, or search without a popup on our mini app buoy.club

try again? if you can reproduce send me a video and i'll see whats going on but this isn't happening for me
