Over the last few days, the number of daily top-level casts has exceeded the number of replies for the first time ever

We all knew the Rewards Leaderboard would drive behavior changes. It’s nice to see the data support that theory. 

I think this means it’s a good time to be a genuine and authentic reply guy. When engagement on most posts goes down, good comments will shine through the noise.

Hmm, maybe I’m missing something but maybe it’s just because I ate a massive plate of delicious homemade nachos, and I’m fully in a food coma…

People used to reply a lot. Then reply less now. We have data.

(I wasn’t sure how that correlates directly with more quality top casts, are people replying less but also casting more, or maybe it’s doesn’t necessarily go hand in hand & is coincidental… or am I trying to over think a simple piece of data)😅

Top level casts just mean original casts casted to your home feed or a channel aka not replies.

Ahh, so “top casts” doesn’t mean like getting interactions.

They definitely aren’t quality casts per se. 

Most casts are orphaned meaning they get 0 engagement. It’s gotten slightly better the last 3 months but not huge.
