Instant ignore when someone messages me with the term KOL in it

Also when did this term KOL even come into play?

Influencers was one thing, advisors felt ok to get away with it but KOL... not the vibe at all

It’s actually a cultural thing, in China KOL == influencer 

IMO it’s a bit superficial to be so hung on term rather than understand the vibe behind it 

Having said that, most influencer/KOL discussions in professional context are repulsive

Though tons of behind the scene market moving factors are tied to that
