my Dad has some old BTC funds that have been in Coinbase for years and he wants to cash them out to buy a bike

but he doesn't want to hook up his bank account to Coinbase to do it

wouldn't have to, it's just I try to keep my crypto transactions extremely clean for the sake of end of year tax purposes

would this really matter? probably not, I'm just slightly OCD about it and don't want to have to report anything other than my normal buys/sells on exchanges

Would you have to sell the Bitcoin or do you have extra cash on hand. Always good to stack sats

yeah this is easiest route but for tax purposes I really don't like doing crypto transactions where I am the intermediary for someone else

ideally want a solution where he's able to do this 100% on his own
