Would be good if tapping the side of a cast opened it. It's the shortest distance for my thumb to travel and I don't risk fat-fingering one of these many buttons on a short (1-2 line) cast. Learned behaviour from Twitter I think.

I don't know what the "Cast now" timer is doing and I don't know why I should / should not press it or why I have to look at it. As BD of this feature I would just hide it. I don't care if people aren't seeing my cast for ~10s after I posted.

A positive aspect of farcaster being rooted in financialized crypto culture is that there is more willingness here to talk about statistics and quantitative analysis on *other* topics like politics, which I appreciate. Could be a big strength if discourse broadens. Most sites are default innumerate, vibes-only.
