would anyone be interested in a chess-flavored farcaster client that allowed you to link your chesscom or lichess profile? (so that you could challenge users, see ratings on posts, share progression / brilliant moves, etc)

definitely altho i don't think you have to fully replicate WC—like it could just be a simple chess game that has a FC leaderboard, betting, games happening live, and farcaster sign in

a nice lightweight app that maps an FID to lichess and chess dot com accounts combined with some leaderboards on who the top chess players on FC are, recent games, etc

@farcaster dev / dad / books, cooks, ski, code ~ there are many things of which a wise man might wish to be ignorant

would totally build this if no one else does

don't take my casts super seriously please (most of them at least)

would be cool to form a group of contributors around this unless you / @kevinoconnell / anyone else are looking to do it solo. there's a few hundred million chess players out there and the tech has a clear value add to the game.
