> my ceiling of ambition is high. I want to take on base / farcaster / coinbase / phantom / robinhood. I can’t do that with a mini app. 

> I would be disappointed with myself. YOU don’t have to be disappointed with yourself if you’re 35 making mini apps as your main thing. 

> if you’re building apps, creating content for the *joy* & no magnanimous outcome, keep on doing it. 

If you’re doing it to build generational wealth, I’d rethink.

Outlier success often comes from non-consensus bets. Saying you don't see any billion dollar companies around as why it's not the place to build means 1) not considering potential future growth 2) looking for consensus to make a decision

Your examples: Coinbase made a big bet on bitcoin before there were billion dollar companies around and Phantom did the same for Solana ecosystem
