isn't identity verification where opacity helps on the app side for trust minimized verifications? think disclosing just what's need in a verified manner from anywhere

I think the importance of trust minimization and preserving composability of DeFi is under looked.

The hard part is identity verification

p.s. i say 

1. use onchain transfer agents
2. tokenize databases of those transfer agents
3. use bi-lateral clearing of tokenized securities whenever possible for trading (most cases possible) 
4. embrace defi
