I came across something today ,in Italy when people graduate, they don’t just toss their caps in the air like we do. Instead, they’re crowned with a laurel wreath, sometimes decorated with flowers or ribbons. I had no idea this was such a big tradition but it’s honestly beautiful. It’s not just about finishing school it’s symbolic. The laurel crown goes all the way back to ancient Rome, where it was used to honor scholars and heroes. There’s something really poetic about starting a new chapter in life with something alive and meaningful on your head. It feels more personal than any graduation gown or hat ever could
