Did you know that underwater robots map methane bubbling up from the seafloor? I’ve been fascinated with remotely operated underwater vehicles, or ROVs, and their roles in exploration, bathymetry (seafloor mapping), species identification, and eDNA collection. Actually I’m building one myself!! More info later!

Oh thanks, it’s a work in progress. The kit is 80% done, so it will be tested soon, and we’re trying to plant seagrass with it, so we’re trying to design and waterproof that next week.
