Should we rebrand Warpcast to Farcaster?

We separated Warpcast (the app) from Farcaster (the protocol) a few years ago. 

We've heard from many new users that this is very, very confusing. People hear about Farcaster, search in the app store, can't find anything called Farcaster and then churn.

One of my favorite things about building Farcaster is how easy it is get great feedback from users quickly.

Farcaster claims to be a decentralized social platform, but in reality, it's a blatant contradiction of its own mission. By collecting personal information such as linking X accounts, Discord, phone numbers, and GitHub, it completely undermines the very essence of decentralization. This is nothing short of hypocrisy! The purpose of decentralization is to protect user privacy and give individuals control over their own data. Instead, Farcaster is following the same exploitative practices as centralized platforms, selling out its users for convenience and potential profit. The creators should be ashamed of their hypocrisy, parading as champions of decentralization while pushing an agenda that does the opposite. This is a betrayal of trust and a slap in the face to the entire decentralized movement!
