don't get me wrong: Spain is beautiful, such rich history, so many wonderful places (i love Barcelona, for instance), i love seeing what Dali and Gaudi have made

it just still feels... "hostile" in a sense of the infrastructure (i.e. less ideal than what i've seen in other countries)

i once stayed in a very rural south germany town, smol population, was walking back at night from a restaurant and realized that... there's nothing and no one to be afraid of, nothing to be worried about :) this subjective sense of security is something that i realized i crave in the places i live in

it's very subjective and very personal, hence my country choice might be peculiar to some
