Fun fact: Years ago, Red Bull Music Academy was going to do a documentary on the record label I used to be a part of for their Label showcase series. They did one on DFA and some other labels from the era. We wanted to do something different, so we counter pitched them on making a mockumentary of our label story and they were down. We got the idea all the way to casting before it fell apart due to schedule conflicts. My boss was going to be played by Moby and we reach out to Jason Schwartzman to play as me.
