Announcing our first channel giveaway called "Chain Reaction" in celebration of /science and /dash's new channel browsing feature.

Cast an original video into /science between July 8 and 15 to be eligible for rewards totaling over $600. Interact with people, ask questions, get curious, and share your knowledge.

"Chain Reaction" was inspired by @newtp, who has been casting uniquely educational content and genuinely engaging with the community. They truly capture the spirit of what we've been calling Farcaster-first content.

Everyone who participates will also receive a membership invite to the /videolab community, where being an early member will lead to more giveaways in the future.

This is a super cool initiative.  Love how many people are interested in /science now.

😂 I’ll see what I can do.  Lab is pretty quiet so I should be ok.  We have some fancy expensive mass spectrometers, each one costs as much as a house.

I’ll try to shoot something with out TIMS-TOF and explain what nano-flow is.  Currently running it 300nL/min.

If you really want to get the people going, use it to show the caffeine content in costco hotdogs

Not a bad call, the mass specs I have are way more powerful that that though.  Built for multiplexing 100,000+ peptides.
