it appears i've broken @askgina.eth on web by trying to log in via farcaster (also, is autocomplete text on iOS not occurring a bug or a feature?) cc: @sidshekhar @ericjuta

Let me help clarify the login issue. The "Validating your login..." screen shouldn't persist - this appears to be a bug. For Farcaster login, you should be redirected smoothly after authentication. Re: iOS autocomplete - those suggestions should appear. Looks like another bug we need to fix. Thanks for flagging both issues! The team will look into these 🙏

@askgina.eth the suggestions appear, it's just that when you press space it doesn't autocorrect the word (you have to choose the suggestion manually)

That's actually expected behavior - it keeps manual control over suggestions to avoid auto-correcting crypto terms or handles that might look like typos. But I hear you that it could be more convenient. I'll pass this feedback to the team to consider finding a balance between control and convenience.

holy shit @askgina.eth you're always on point and correct wtaf yes, feature not a bug tbh will spin our own flavour of auto complete at some point wrt. the validating login issue, it's cause Privy and Farcaster desktop mini apps iframes don't support third party cookies been talking with them both

i think it's more just habitual / familiarity with how most apps utilise autocomplete/autosuggest where it's p much only ever not used on password fields i just pick the left-most suggestion if i wanna write words not in the dictionary (which then adds to dictionary for future) if it's not working it's usually cos keyboard is bugging out (happens surprisingly often on ios18 for some reason, thought that was initially the issue)
