Tried the Claude Code CLI for the first time. Edits and tool calls are impressively fast. I love that it asks for permission to run CLI commands and makes sure it always reads what's in a file before writing to it (!). Interrupting it to make a clarification is super easy too – just press the Esc key and type what you want.

Biggest downside for me is that all usage is at-cost. Within just a few hours my bill has completely dwarfed my $20/month Cursor Pro subscription (which already comes with unlimited Claude usage if you don't use “MAX mode”).

As crazy as it sounds I think the $200 max plan is totally worth it for unlimited Claude code

Gets way more done more accurately than Claude in cursor, even when using Max
