thai food in montreal is surprisingly good and Satay Brothers is a must-go for any culinary visitor to the city. their chicken satay is marinated and cooked over a charcoal grill, served with homemade peanut sauce and cucumbers. outrageously good. green papaya salad (not pictured) also highly recommended.

that’s amazing, it’s such a good spot. and yes indeed, probably 30+ times! for me Pumpui is better at noodles and curries, Satay Brothers is better at meat dishes. I would also say that Pumpui makes excellent veg fritters that far surpass SB’s. love them both, though I don’t always jive with Pumpui’s french influences. their specials are sometimes a bit edgy, we got sick once from a fermented pork dish. they also don’t have green papaya salad which is a shame because it’s arguably the best thing ever and a must order at SB.
