also me: grabbing a glass at the local wine shop and working from their patio this afternoon sounds really nice

ok i went :)))

chose my favourite wine from last summer - Envol by Lieux Communs, a sparkling red from an urban winery here in Montreal (grapes are grown in Quebec and Ontario)

my friend who’s the sommelier here describes it as: 

“a sparkling red with soft bubbles, made from a blend of marquette and vidal grapes. the carbonic maceration creates a fruity profile that is cherry dominant with a hint of musk and leafy greenness”
