Silence is a luxury and rare experience in today's world. I vividly recall visiting La Gomera in 2017, walking up a valley, when I turned a corner and suddenly didn't hear anything between the rocks. I stayed there for half an hour, in awe of the auditive nothingness that surrounded me. It was incredible.

Cutting out the noise is essential sometimes, both in a literal and metaphorical way. I believe 'the message' - whichever one you're currently seeking - is always there, but sometimes we've got to be more silent to hear it.
