What's the thinnest hands free slip on sandals or flip flops for ultralight carry on only travel?

Bought these from Target for $5 in a hurry for a lake trip and they lasted for years taking them around the world. Added my own metatarsal arch support.

If only someone made Xero Shoes sandal in a flip flop form factor. I took these to Medellín Colombia in 2019 and tried to wear them as flip flops. I kept stepping on the buckles which was painful.

Agreed. I got 2 pair for $10 or something last winter and they’re unwearable! The back is always causing problems and the front is too variable 😢
