Week 1 on Farcaster and it was my most-used app π Initial thoughts β 1/ People have been so nice and welcoming. Iβve spent a good chunk of time exploring different channels and mini-apps. The more I engage and follow, the more tailored my feed gets. 2/ Engagement has been surprisingly strong! Iβm seeing 4β10% on most posts. For context, IG considers 2β3% great for creators. So either the people here are super active, or my contentβs landingβ¦ maybe both? π 3/ I love the concept of mini apps - theyβre fun! I know many are still early, so Iβm excited to see how they grow. That said, not all are intuitive yet. Some load slowly, images donβt always show up, and a few left me wondering what to do. I also get tokens in my wallet that I donβt always understand - itβd be cool if apps linked directly from wallet when applicable for easier access. 1/2

4/ UX thoughts: β’ Native polls please! (Tried a mini app, felt clunky) β’ In-app translate would help - some channels are entirely in another language β’ Image upload cap of 2 is too low (but saw a cast that itβll increase soon π) β’ Photo + video casts get stacked vertically and take up too much space ππΌ β’ Video quality sometimes drops or glitches after upload 5/ Noice has been one of my favorite mini apps so far - love the tipping concept! @noiceapp π Still figuring things out, but the vibes are good so far. Hoping my feed eventually feels a bit more like my Threads one - a mix of smart insights, clever one-liners, and juicy niche thoughts π 2/2
