As we go multi-client with @farcaster, duplicate push notifications is increasingly going to be an issue. Might be helpful to have a centralized registry for user preferences for basic protocol interactions. Ex: do I want notifs for follows, likes, replies, and if so which client (auth key?) sends it.

Right now I’m basically tempted to disable push for one of these clients, but then I’d lose out on specialized interactions from each (auctions for @farcaster, coins for @baseapp.base.eth).

Strong agree. I imagine this is more likely possible as a helper / side app than at the protocol level, but I'm not sure.
