Satay
Satay is very similar to our own kebab and was originally introduced to Java, Indonesia by Arab immigrants and then became popular in neighboring countries, including Malaysia. At first glance, satay may seem like a simple kebab, but a well-prepared satay is juicy and flavorful, especially when grilled over charcoal.
