two of my friends from university are like suuuuuper down (or up) the arbonne MLM pyramid scheme train 

like they've been doing this for almost a decade now and manage multiple "teams" under them and have gotten to VP level? their entire facebook feed is several posts a day from them on how much better their life has been since selling Arbonne and how empowered it makes them feel and how much effort and time it has taken to build their *own business*???

Do they actually make good money and enjoy their life?
I know people who are successful in network marketing, but it still feels weird — it honestly still reminds me of a cult.

I suspect and wonder the same! They’re also twins so i feel like they enable each other too

I suspect it’s to recruit new members — their income depends on it, after all…
And can they even talk to their “friends” about anything other than their job?

i mean from facebook they seem to enjoy their life! they travel a lot but everything they post is arbonne coded or straight up arbonne marketing, so i'm not sure what their REAL life is like - do they travel just to be able to take pics and get more arbonne minions under them or do they actually enjoy their time traveling?
