From what I was reading, the greater % of Greenland's pop. is of Native origin or native and a smoller % is Danish/European decent, with them having the ability to apparently decide on independence for awhile now, but having a certain reliance/dependance on Denmark rn so... with the untapped resources they have waiting to be developed, I could see a push for a strong US buy-out package lol
