ITAP Bridge on the main artery of our city. The name of the bridge is "Chosei-bashi (長生橋), which means "bridge for a long life". Our city, the hometown of Isoroku Yamamoto, was heavily bombed in the Pacific War. If the war had not ended, it would have been a candidate for the third atomic bomb following Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Many people died after running away from the fire and jumping into the river from this bridge. Every year on August 2 and 3, a memorial fireworks display is held around this bridge.
