Social media is fucking up most of us so bad. Don’t just believe what you see. Don’t care about what keeps popping up online. You’re shown the most extravagant holidays, people going to the fanciest restaurants, wearing the most “luxurious” garments, drinking the most expensive champagne, partying on the most expensive yachts. Don’t give a fuck about any of that. Don’t let those posts influence your life. Most of them are fake, people trying to fake it till they make it, or people who got there by going into debt or making huge sacrifices just to be seen or people who simply got lucky. So don’t give a fuck about them. You have your own journey. Your own dream. Your own shit that matters. Focus on that. This noise will only distract you. Slow you down. Make you take the wrong steps. You do you. Silence them. Reminder for myself.🌹

btw, little lore I once dated a filmmaker and we lived in a 5 star hotel for months. turns out it was all funded by freeloading, family/friend debt, investor lies and credit cards. mentally and financially set me back 3 years. worst phase ever.
