Interesting — I wasn’t aware of the McKelvey–Schofield chaos theorem. The way it’s described sounds very similar to turbulent flow in dynamical systems, e.g. Navier-Stokes applied to fluid convection etc. The majority rule can be unstable and lead to unpredictable, aperiodic outcomes (which is characteristic of nonlinearity)
