Yes, I guess the main DAO would set some guidelines and directives when it comes to funding & outcomes, but the only way for sub-DAOs to achieve their full potential is if they actually behave like a DAO. If this new organization doesn't need to behave like a DAO to embrace the complexity of the given task, then it is just a working group using DAO Tooling and you didn't need a "sub-DAO" in the first place.

Although we should be stricter with what qualifies as a DAO. Donβt want too get picky with the terms. A single person can operate as a DAO if they are running things onchain

i totally agree with you on all counts, my friend π€ Haha, I'm the least picky person, i was originally referring to big DAOs. A single player can spin up a whole wave of change for sure!!
