The main problem with DAOs is that we do not have enough functional DAOs.

The second problem with functional DAOs is that they are usually "big & slow." 

You want to be modular & agile, hence why Ecosystems need to have 2-3 DAOs with standards to be interoperable to accomplish their core purpose.

If the “sub-DAO” relies on the “main DAO,” then it is not a “DAO”, it is a working group; do not get it twisted.

Yes, I guess the main DAO would set some guidelines and directives when it comes to funding & outcomes, but the only way for sub-DAOs to achieve their full potential is if they actually behave like a DAO.

If this new organization doesn't need to behave like a DAO to embrace the complexity of the given task, then it is just a working group using DAO Tooling and you didn't need a "sub-DAO" in the first place.

The main DAO can decide what they have autonomy over and provide budget
