haven’t watched the WWDC keynote yet but despite seeing a few cool things here’s my take: OpenAI and others in SV are working on jaw dropping demos & disrupting tools that show you we’re in a golden age of innovation, and Apple’s response is to change the versioning schema for their OS’s and make all their interfaces glass based?!

😅😅 you’re not wrong!! and every time I’ve slept on Apple it hasn’t proved to be a good prediction, maybe it’ll just take some time to see how these changes they’re making help out the app layer

this relationship between providers(building operating systems, blockchains, protocols etc) and app builders is one I’ve learned a lot about over the past few years & still really intrigues me!

eg. in crypto building a protocol and it’s leading app seems to be really impt, in a field like AI obviously the models are the foundation here but seems like rn there’s a lot of room for growth at the app layer(Cursor and Windsurf being great examples here)
