If we were to work on channels as a developer lego, what should we improve?

Decentralizing existing primitive doesn’t drive network growth. 

So would have to offer something new / compelling.

Ability to make channels private and accept users into channel upon request 

I hope I come back as a rock in my next life.

What kind of channel would you create with this feature?

It’s not really about the kind of channel but really about letting who you want into your channel because right now anyone can follow any channel with no restriction. But for context personal channels could maybe benefit from this because there would be more privacy.

For instance owners of Channels that want to have a form of gated community could benefit as well.
