Question: where do you see farcaster, the network, over the next 5 years? Growth matters, so what are the grand plans to growth hack?

Trying to figure that out. I don’t think there’s a clear growth hack. Just iteration and trying to figure out something that a lot of people find compelling enough to use daily.

5 years is an eternity, so any prediction that far out is unlikely to be true.

Iterating & compelling, one of the biggest things is looking at the data during iteration, not acting fast enough, and/or not being able to retain during that period of the next iteration.

e.g. CT won't just port here because its decentralised. They will when they find they can do more than just base X. And have their friends over to interact with their shitposts. Similar earning opportunities. Etc. not too tribal, i.e. "only eth folk on fc" (wisest thing to do was allow us to remove the .eth from our usernames).

same with the journalist crowd. and the brands.
