S-tier onboarding experience, esp. since it generates a wallet under the hood

In my experience, very few people read anything, they just fill out the steps as quickly as possible to get to the actual experience.

as someone who has no idea what this app is about, I beg to differ:

1. asking me to grant the app access to my notifications before I get to interact with the content and make up my mind about its value proposition is a fundamental blunder. what are the notifications for?
2. not showing what the app is about before people sign up is going to result in a massive drop-off rate right there
3. creating my profile... for what purpose exactly, since I don't know what I'm signing up for?
4. right after finishing the sign-up, I'm left to my own devices, but without knowing the premise of the app, what am I supposed to do?

side note: things flying up in the background are cool, but have been overdone and can be distracting to a lot of people
