If you find Farcaster fun, what's preventing you from inviting 1-2 friends and helping them get started here?

I've invited friends a few times. They scroll a bit, don't understand/like what they see, and just don't come back. And I just don't insist

Look, I know you’ll get this analogy: Age of Empires 2. A lot of us played it as kids or teenagers—I still play it. But whenever I try to get my friends into it, I feel that same awkwardness. I can explain why AoE2 is a great game and why they should give it a shot. They might even download it and play a match or two, but maybe 1 out of 100 actually sticks with it.

And it’s not like they don’t like gaming—they’ve got PS5s and all that. It’s just that AoE2 has a steep learning curve. Try playing competitive AoE2 again and you’ll understand exactly how those people feel.

ok, It’s not that they don’t like it — they just don’t understand it or aren’t interested in what they saw. I guess they're more into other kind of social - instagram, telegram, tiktok, youtube.
I like that here I can read about startups, crypto, nerdy stuff/memes. My friends aren't really into that. I even onboarded a friend that has a lot of his capital in bitcoin, he's very bullish on it, but he's not into this kind of culture (memes, nerd stuff, tech, software development).
