Fnames - we have ENS as a decentralized option; if we decentralize, just massively increase squatting. Bluesky / AT Proto has the same pragmatic approach. Channel ownership - they aren't working, no changes planned for now; waste of time to decentralize / ossify something that isn't working Majority client dominance - that's based on consumer preference? You can't force people to stop using an app. That said, Base is integrating Farcaster and will meaningfully increase % of users on the network not on Warpcast

Fnames- maybe not a priority but could be based on decentralised trust (similar to Tkn.xyz) people stake / vouch or could just be a network upgrade where .eth is default? Channels- what’s the def of working? I feel they curate topic pretty well (maybe could be keyword based also in channel feed?) Majority client- There is only one client with full DC functionality? So everything will be inferior hence no true competition hence preferred client?

Any time spent on this is time not spent on something else. > Channels- what’s the def of working? They don't drive growth and are not reliable source of additional content for people's feeds (we've run a bunch of A/B tests and channel content always performs worse). > There is only one client with full DC functionality We have full DC APIs now. Other clients can add the functionality.

1. Practically nothing just a decentralisation nit 2. So why not remove them ? I feel for anyone who comes new here they help find relevant content on network (/nouns, /aichannel, /apple /dev, /cryptoleft ) 3. Cool didn’t know that Thanks for responding

What are the benefits of full DC functionality for clients? Are there clear incentives (e.g performance, user demand, competitive advantage) for clients to implement it?
