A week ago it seemed like channels were being prioritized again, but now it looks like they have stalled once more. @dwr.eth I understand this is a complex problem to solve, but what, if any opposition do you have bringing people on who've successfully built channels here + have a community background? @kbc @nonlinear.eth curious to hear your thoughts.

It's not a question of hiring someone. It's about prioritization. Channels don't drive growth. We're focused on growth.

In the short term, I agree, but community has always been a long term growth play. Using Reddit as an example, it took a solid year + for them to gain any meaningful traction and for people to embrace subreddits. And that was their main focus. I know Farcaster isn’t Reddit, but there’s already an established heuristic people have made between the two when it comes to channels and cozy corners, which ultimately benefits Farcaster long term.

We need growth yesterday. Have to stay focused on the bets that make growth happen sooner.
