When it comes to the art community, we desperately need eth collectors. There is no web3 art community without them. If you can get them on here there could be a mass migration from X imo. 

Feedback I got was that reach / engagement was awful here and that it was too hard to grow a new account so they gave up. That was months ago tbf but if you can solve those it would make a big difference I think. 

(When I say eth collectors I dont mean bargain bin prices like Zora and Rodeo)

I don't think they exist anywhere at this point. Maybe / hopefully it will come back, but 2021 might have been an aberration.

Agreed. Id much rather be on FC than X personally. we can get there if we manage to onboard those ppl. I think we have a few months left ive been seeing more and more artists sell lately.

while artists like Joelle who can actually sell their work are a bit of an outlier these days compared with the experience of most people trying to make money from our artwork, the few buyers are indeed on X

it would be awesome to see them migrate here

hopefully the more toxic aspects of the web3 art community on X would stay there and only the good ones would come here

but, honestly, it would be great to get market makers to move here regardless

Course they do, its nothing like 2021-22 yet obviously but ive been selling on X. Chatting with artists here, havent heard of anyone selling higher prices eth pieces, so a lot of us had to go back to X to promote our work because sadly thats where all the eth collectors are. Just sharing a lot of artists experience in case its helpful to you guys but feel free to ask others what they think.
